My First Post
Just bought this 83 Chevy. Drive Train is complete with new 350 stroker, aluminum heads, and new 700r4 trans. Body is straight, but now it needs some cosmetic TLC such as lowering, paint, wheels / tires, & interior. I am excited I have found a place to get ideas and information for my project.

well you found the right place. just search around the forums. there's many pictures of different trucks. this may help you in choosing what you really wanna do. what are your plans for the truck? daily driver, show truck? nice looking truck. can't wait to see what you do with it. good luck Last edited by nbpro; 08-13-2010 at 04:23 PM. |

Re: My First Post
Did that truck used to be stick shift? It's got a small brake pedal on it and so does my old mans 84 but his wasn't stic either but I can't figure out why they have small pedals and wide pedals most as wide ones for autos.
Truck looks good, love underhood, as for interior man krylon fusion would bring them door panels back to life and some 6x9's in the holes they got cut in them.

Re: My First Post
Love the truck what kind of power do you think it's making? (if you don't wanna answer don't feel obligated)
I love the sleeper look! What kind of exhaust are you running?

Re: My First Post
Not sure what power it is running. Engine is nice and strong, but I feel it should be putting more to the tires. It doesn't really have it off the line. Not much of a burn out Maybe a new rear end? Better Air Filter? I am new to this. The exhaust needs to be upgraded. It has 2" seperated dual exhaust with flowmasters. I think it needs a cross pipe?
