Its finally here
After a very long wait my 71 4x4 c10 is here.A gift from my brother in CA (thanks Wendell).I am going to start by swapping the old 350/350 with an LT1 and 4l60e.What do you guys think?

Should be a good combo but why a LT1 instead of one of the LS engines?

I already own the lt1/4l6oe but if I had an LS I might go that route.For me the Lti is just a bit easier to swap/tune.I was originaly going to do a Cadillac 500 but fi set up is too costly.

I wish my brother was still here to help me on my 68 and 70 trucks. He loved that style. He wasn't much body man but he would try real hard to please me. We disagred a lot and didn't see eye to eye on thing but he is missed. Actually both of my brothers are gone on and I miss them both alot. Jim
