Quick question about didgital pics

Somrtimes when I take photos to post on the board they seem to have a checkered pattern especially around chrome mouldings and body lines what causes this thanks biddaboy

Most of the time it's due to the scaling of the picture and how your image software shrinks color patterns. Try doing different sizes and watch it change patterns.
