I never was a fan of heating stuff myself, being its a coil spring truck, he has a lot of easy options to drop the rear. I wish the GMC was coils cause I would have already dropped it. Getting some weird vibes about the drop shackles and I dont want to put alot into droppin it.

Smitty... I did a 2" drop shackle on my GMC leaf spring truck. Removed the huge overload spring, and got 3" out of it for the cost of the new shackles. I did a thread on it here on the board somewhere.
