Noob in Orlando FL
Just got home with my new to me 69 C10. Inline 6, 3spd on the floor. Gonna have TONS of questions. It made the hour drive home but needs a lil tuning. Oh by the way, I've never driven a vehicle w/o power brakes. My right leg is gonna be twice the size of my left. I may try to paint it next week since the guy spray painted the bed. I'm thinkin' of a satin blue or black with a white roof, grille and well the bumpers already are, so is the interior. I hate the rims and want some stock steelies to paint black and wrap with some pinstripe whitewalls

Re: Noob in Orlando FL
Thanks. So day 1: Was making a door key and the drivers lock won't lock, also in doing so I managed to push BOTH outer door buttons in the handles and only the passenger side one has enough spring to it to open the door. When I pushed the drivers side one I heard a metal piece fall in the door...any ideas? I'm extremely pissed and I don't have time to fix it till Sunday

Re: Noob in Orlando FL
Haha.... I'm in the REAL town of Old Town (32680), My bro is about 15 mins from Old Town down there. Soon as it cools off I'll be takin my 97 back down for another cruise down main street....
Don't feel bad, My 74 was a turd before I started working on it and now it's a scattered turd. But, Maybe one day......
