hi guys
im heading out to the junkyard tommorow hoping to pick up a tow hitch for my 88 1 ton crew cab . will a hitch from a 1/2 , 3/4 different years fit ? not many 1 tons about so was wondering if one from another truck will bolt on .

Yes they will fit but spend the $200+ and buy a new HD hitch for that truck, it will last the rest of your life and be capable of towing a lot. Drawtite makes a 10,000lbs\12,000lbs hitch that is pretty strong.
