BBC question

Were the Trucks still badged as 396 after 69 even though they were 402s. i know the chevelles usually were just curious of the pick-ups. Saw this add and this motor would technically be a 402 right or am i wrong

Re: BBC question

69 was the only 396 emblem. In 70 it was the 8-400. However, they still used 396 on the glove box spid after 69.

Re: BBC question

My 71 says 396 on glovebox, my 72 says 402 on glove box and radiator support.

The first year for the 396 was 68 for the pickups. 68 didn't have an emblem however.

What year truck? I assume it was added at some point. I am not familiar with that one at all for trucks.
