LH Ram Horn's Exhaust Manifold

I have a driver's side ram horn exhaust manifold for sale. There are no cracks, but the studs will need to be replaced. It came from my 1969 C10. I would like $25 plus shipping.

Do you know if the stud replacement is a hard job? Shipping to 75117? I might be interested if it isn't too much. Thanks.

Re: LH Ram Horn's Exhaust Manifold

I just finished replacing studs on two other manifolds. This is the technique I used:

Soaked the studs in penetrating oil for a couple of days.
Weld a nut to the base of each stud.
While the stud is still hot, unthread it using a deep well socket and ratchet.

The heat from the welding helps break loose the studs from the manifold. Replacement stud kits (3 pack) can be purchased from any reputable parts store for about $5.

I can ship it to you for $37 total ($12 shipping). If the stud replacement is a deal breaker, I can extract the old studs prior to shipping it.

I'll take it. If you could take them out that would be great. I'll send you a message with my info. Thanks.
