trim level

How can you tell what trim level your truck was originally? Is there any way to tell by the VIN? Thanks for any help

Re: trim level

I thought my truck was a super cheyenne. Has the badge has PS, PB, AIR, Cargo light and headliner. A guy came and looked at it today and doesn't think its a super. Any way to tell for sure?

Re: trim level

It will be on your SPID, inside the glove box door.

Re: trim level

Get us photos of the truck, inside and out. We should be able to nail it.
The VIN won't tell you anything about trim levels.

Will do. The problem is though it's got about a 12 year old resto and I don't know what they changed or didn't change I'll get pics up though

Why does he not think it's a Super?

Re: trim level

It doesnt have the woodgrain trim. The tailgate doesnt have the woodgrain lettering. Gauges don't have the wood grain. It has the badge on the glove box but again not the woodgrain. If I could figure out how to post pics since photobucket doesnt work on here I'd post some pics.

Re: trim level

if it never had any of that, then it isn't a cheyenne, let alone a super.

Re: trim level

a/c, power steering and power brakes were not part of any option package.
The cargo light was part of the CST/cheyenne, and super... but it was also an option avalible alone too.
