Re: Need Source for u-Bolts for 2" Lowering Blocks

Rick,
if you can't find the size you want over the counter, your best bet for custom bent u-bolts is a big rig repair shop. probably several up in Fort Wayne. I've had several sets made at this type of business on the cheap!!

Re: Need Source for u-Bolts for 2" Lowering Blocks

We have a spring shop here that can bend them up custom, If you pay shipping I will pick them up and ship them if you can't find them local. I think they were about 7.00 a piece last time I had a set bent?

Re: Need Source for u-Bolts for 2" Lowering Blocks

Thanks for all the Input, I was able to find a Set Local that was the Right Lenght but not the Right Size diameter wise. Was afraid that to much slop would cause a problem with rear Axle.

I will have to dbl check, But i Think what i need is like 5/8 Diameter & What i bought was 9/16? The truck is at my Buddies Shop & I will check the u-bolts i Bought Tomorrow for diameter.........

I do Remember the length i bought was 12".........

Skirkpat, I Really Appreciate the Offer & Will Keep in Touch .

Thanks, Rick
