1972 C10 - Easy Lowering Options?

I'm pretty sure I have a couple ideas out there but lookin for options.

This truck will eventually be bagged but I want it lowered and slightly tuckin until then.

I figured I could trim or heat the front coils to lower the front and the back maybe just pull a leaf out of each of the springs?

Thoughts/suggestions?

DO NOT heat your coils. You will find that to be a very negative topic on here. You can cut your front coil. The starting point seems to be try one full coil and see how it sets. For the rear, since you are leaf spring you can remove the thick overload, and possibly some of the others from the pack. You will want to remove some and see how it sets.

Right on, to be honest I'll just be lowering it for asthetics only. This truck will not be driven or see the road for about 6 months. I just cannot stand seeing it this high.

It will go from this straight to bags which is why I mentioned heating them. I'm aware of how they settle amongst other things but thanks for the reply.

When you say thick overload, you must be referring to the big one on bottom right?

Hmm, I get what you're saying. doing that would give me about a 3 or 4 inch drop I suspect.

Know of any links that has the various examples done?
