Difference between three core and four core

Hey everyone,

I'm going to replace my two core radiator. I know moving up to three core is a good upgrade but is there a big difference between three core and four core?

I'm moving to San Diego and I don't do much towing or hauling with my truck. I just use it mainly for commuting each day.

Thanks for the advice.

There is more than just the number of rows. Be careful, some 3 rows are more effeciant then 4 rows. They can cool just as good.

^ I agree with above. Lots of other factors involved including the material it's made of.

Some years back I went from a 2 row to 3 row with no change on the engine temp. Basically it was already at it's maximum cooling capability. Just make sure you have a good water pump, fan, overflow container, etc.
