67-68 side body moldings
Don't laugh, I'm a newb!
Can you use 67-68 side body moldings on a 72? Almost forgot should have introduced myself! Hello everyone! I've been visiting this forum for a while now since 2007 and have just subscribed! Why? you ask... well just put a deposit on my truck this weekend!!! It's a 1972 C-10 LWB with a 350 motor. I don't know how to weld, bondo, or paint but I want to learn! Hoping to do everything myself from what I learn from this forum. Can't wait to go pick her up next month! Here are some pics on my truck: A little damage to the front passenger side. And it comes with a free trash can and two heavy duty tables in the bed! Last edited by MrClean; 08-24-2010 at 08:44 PM. |

Re: 67-68 side body moldings
Good question. My first thought was no, but I could not give a reason why seeing as how the panels are the same.

Re: 67-68 side body moldings
I'm hoping I can because I like the look of this truck.
I want mine to have the same paint scheme, just silver and white instead. Last edited by MrClean; 08-24-2010 at 09:26 PM. |

Sorry, just had to. Yeah, they'll fit. Probably have to fix the fender first, though.

Re: 67-68 side body moldings
You absolutely can. Just drill the holes. Some people have even said they use the double sided tape instead.

Re: 67-68 side body moldings
When you are ready to buy the trim, I would suggest MAR-K. They have a very quality product made here in the US, using the original tooling. I was super happy with the fit and price. Wait for it to go on sale!!
