What's Her Name?

So now that I've got my truck back, I need a name for her. I was originally thinking "Breeze" or "The Breeze", or something like that, but now that just seems dumb. Now I'm thinking "Bess". Heck, do I even need a name for her? What do you guys think?

Re: What's Her Name?

How do you know it's a "she". It may be a "he."

My '69 is "Grasshopper." Aptly named by my MIL cause it was light green and with a white tool box it somehow reminded her of a grasshopper.

The '68 GMC I named "Bluebell" for it's pale blue color like the Bluebell flower.

So, what's my point? Don't name it now. At some time in the future an appropriate name will come to you. If it doesn't, well it means that it's just another truck...

Re: What's Her Name?

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I think I'll just leave her/him nameless for hte time being, and maybe something will hit me as I continue to drive her/him.

Re: What's Her Name?

I've had my truck 10 1/2 years now and never been able to come up with a good name for it. My sons nicknamed it "The Hotrod truck". My wife sometimes refers to it as "My other wife."

I used to have a 66 lonbed pickup that my wife called "The Booger" cuz it was green and she said it was ugly, nobody else thought it was ugly though. Unfortunately, The Booger stuck(get it?) and that's what we all called it.

Most car or truck names just happen. It seems like when you want to name one, you can't come up with anything.
