WTB Alt. Brackets

im looking for someone to maybe trade alt. brackets...

heres the deal, my motor that is going in the truck is out of a 78 malibu, 305 v8. the motor in my 67 is an unknown 305. im guessing that water pump is a long one since there is no way to mount that alt. bracket because the bolt behind the pulley will not fit (not enough clearance), which is why im guessing i have a short water pump (i just took the old one to o reilly, told them what car its out of, and they gave me the new one).

so, i would like to find some brackets that are passenger side. i can mail you mine, and you mail yours. or if they are reasonable, i can buy yours. surface doesnt matter, they are getting cleaned and powedercoated.

i just want to make sure they fit!

heres the motor i need brackets for..

and with the pulley on..

JMO- Had you thought about just going to your local bone yard and picking some up?

Re: WTB Alt. Brackets

good point lol

welll, i was gonna modify the one i have now to make it fit, but getting that bolt to line up on the water pump and actually have room to screw it in is gonna be a challenge. then, i totally didnt even think that the pulleys have to line up lol

so if im looking for the side mount brackets, that bolt on the driver side, what year did those come out of? and im guessing its gonna have to be a short water pump style?
