DBC with a 1970?
Hey Guys,
Has anyone come up with a cleaver way to mount the DBC to the factory 1970 gas pedal? This looks to be a huge b*tch because I plan on running a 700R4, too. David |

Re: DBC with a 1970?
Somewhere in the FAQ section (link below in my sig) there is a write-up on changing a 68-70 gas pedal over to a 71-72 cable style. That will let you use the cable that is original to the LS engine.
Also, Bow Tie Overdrives makes a kit that bolts to the DBC throttle body so you can use a kickdown or TV cable.

Another option is a custom length cable from someone like Lokar, then fab a bracket to hold the cable so it can attach to the 68-70 throttle rod at the firewall.
