Blazer fuel fillers take a 1 3/8" filler hose, which is difficult (and expensive) to find. I got mine at a Marine shop.

That is true and I am just makeing sure the 69-71 is the same as 72? I have a 72 and I know the gas caps for 72 are a pain to find. I am considering using this one just for the gas cap difference (and rubber grommet). Just want to be sure the fuel hose is the same for all years.
