help with fan shroud?

hey guys i got a 65 c10 longbed that i just put a reman 350 in ,but i dont have a fan shroud i tryed to seach the site for any info but didnt see any. was just wondering if theres a place i can buy one new. or will later year models work if i can find one at junkyard. thanks tim

Take some careful measurements and watch craigslist ads, junkyards are more fond of their stuff price-wise - I used one from a later El Camino on mine, $25

Replacement fan shrouds are available from most restoration parts suppliers, but pricewise it's about a wash between them and buying one local to you...ie: craigslist add.

ok guys i got my fan shroud today from lmc trucks but looks like im missing the the brackets/the way to mount it to the radiator was wondering if someone had a picture of what i need or a link to where i can get the parts i dont see anything in lmc trucks? thanks

Original V8 trucks have a panel on either side of the radiator that bolt to the core support that the original shroud mounts too. I believe the 6 cylinders are different??

Brothers has the same one as the other guy has and its $110 all so i have it but i dont use it. My truck runs at 185-190 whit out it.

i bought a new one from LMC truck. they sell one for V8s

dont know about the 6s, but my truck did come with a 6 and it did not have a fan shroud. unless my dad ripped it off at some point.

Thanks but not mine.... took the pic at the Grand Rod Run in Pigeon Forge last spring. Mine is here:

I did just pick up an original V8 shroud from LilRed66 though that I haven't installed yet- $125.00 shipped.
