Going a little lower

Just ordered my 2 1/4 drop spindles, c notch, 2 inch blocks, front and rear drop shocks, front and rear shock relocators, deluxe track arm and a tilt wheel turn signal switch for the 68. It already has a 3-4 drop via springs. I swapped over to 5 lug not to long ago so I guess I'll have to save the new spindles that came with that for a future project. Some of you may have seen pictures before, if not here it is.

Re: Going a little lower

Looks like my blocks, adjustable track arm and rear shocks are on back order. Hopefully it won't take to long to get them in. Thanks for the comments.

Re: Going a little lower

I like those wheels, they are a little different than what everyone else is running.

Re: Going a little lower

Got some parts put on today. I had to go run and get some outer tie rod ends and upper ball joints for a 71 to match my drop spindles. The parts for the rear haven't come in yet. Rides great even though the tires are tucked a little. 245/45/20, not sure of the backspacing. 3in drop coil and 2 1/4 drop spindles.

Re: Going a little lower

The front looks perfect. Do you have any issues with it rubbing? Can't wait to see the rear go down.

Re: Going a little lower

No rubbing that I can tell yet. I turned lock to lock and I was able to run my hands around the tires with plenty of room. I haven't driven it far enough to really tell yet. I need to find some places with dips in the road and a driveway or two that would really test it under compression. I'm not sure when the rest of the parts are due to be in. I know I am oncall all next week. As soon as I start a project or go somewhere my work phone rings. If I sit on the couch and do nothing it never rings. I think I'll take the chance and work on it if the parts come in next week.
