In 1969 The Chevy trucks featured a single round headlight outlined by a square border at each end, separated by a horizontal bar with 'Chevrolet' embossed into it. The Bow Tie emblem was moved to the nose of a more upright hood. It could be done. After work I will hold up my steel painted grille up to a '69 that is in the shop and show you how it would look.
