powdercoating/bushing instal

hey guys i just had my frame and suspension parts powdercoated and i need to know if i can install the bushings in the leaf springs with it powdercoated in the hole or if i have to get it down to bare metal before i can install them.

I know its a little late now, but if its not a show truck i dont powder anything that can get hit with a rock. rust can grow under it and then it starts to chip off in larger parts. with that being said. clean to bare and coat with por15 if brass . If they are urithane or rubber then you should be able to press in.
