I can't believe I missed this thread for 3 pages.
This photo is NOT of my engine, it belongs to member "n2billet" and is in his kickass 68 shortbed fleetside that is beautiful. I never miss a chance to post this picture because I am frankly in love with it and wish my '46 didn't have the 350 it has...it runs so good. This engine is easily the best looking six I have ever seen. It's a 292. He posted that he ground the intake manifold smooth and painted it, the block and the distributor cap the same color. No info on the source for the master cylinder cover and air cleaner - anyone know? I'd love to have the reference for the future. I'm sure it's either a high dollar retail or custom, but this engine ROCKS!. Anyone disagree? |

I believe the valve cover & master cylinder & air cleaner might be offenhauser products.
