Re: My 66 frame off.
Hey DF.........Isaw your question about the belts on another thread. My belts are some generic racing belt I picked up at a local speed shop. They are similar to the Simpson belts like in drag cars......w/ the big latch.
I dont have any pics of them installed if thats what you meant. My truck is in various states of together and apart depending on what you look at!!! One issue could be my seat hite; its a little high. I will be changing out my seats to some totally pimpdaddy caddy seats from the 70's.....big power toggle switches like on a PS3 or something! This will give me a little extra room around the waist......they are much lower. Your truck is looking good!

Re: My 66 frame off.
Thanks everyone. I haven't got much done lately. I've been really busy with school.
But I don't have any classes until the 24th. So hopefully I can get some stuff done. Sorry for these crappy phone pictures. I misplaced my camera. I picked up a b&m megashifter on ebay for 30 shipped. Here is also a picture of the 400 installed. I may have posted this already. It's all cleaned up. Still haven't decided on painting it yet. I'll try to get more pictures of the cab later on tonight. Last edited by David Flores; 03-15-2008 at 12:46 AM. |

The truck is looking nice man. Looks like you've been working really hard on it. Can't wait to see pictures of it when you get it finished.

Re: My 66 frame off.
Hey David, lookin' good. I am in Temple also. I just got my 1st project. 62 longbed stepper. I am tearing it down behind my office on I35. I have never turned a wrench or done any bodywork in my life, so this is all very new to me. I would love to hook up sometime to pick your brain if you would be intrested. Nothin like being the 37 year old newb here.
