A/C questions
The '73 K20 I just bought this past weekend (I know I need to take pics) is/was an A/C truck, but is missing the compressor and lines...my question is what are the options and costs of each options. Obviously I can go with reproductuction parts of the original stuff...but is it possible to use a modern compressor one that is effiecent and bogs the engine down as little as possible? I originally wasn't going to worry with it but the wife likes the idea of having it if it's there especially the way it's been over this summer.

There is no reason why you can't go with a more contemporary compressor. Your going to need the correct brackets, and corresponding fittings to make it work though.

I would use a Sanden compressor on Alan Grove brackets, then havines custom made. I am told some NAPA stores can make the lines.
