Some tall decks have a small sae bell housing bolted to the back of the block. Just unbolt that if it has it and you're good to go.

Yes it will bolt right up. I'm using one in the 71 SWB i just picked up. They are low compression, cammed for pulling around lots of weight in a dump truck but, a new cam and hi-compression 427 pistons with .400" longer connecting rods and it will be on of the meanest engines you will ever see. |
