Mexican Blanket
So I dug out one of my old Mexican blankets I've had for years with the intent of using it on my bench seat. I used one before on an early 80's C-10 I had in high school, and just draped it over the seat. It looked good, but was a pain to keep in place. To those of you using these blankets in your trucks: how do you keep them in place?

Re: Mexican Blanket
I took mine to an upholstery shop and had it installed. I think it was $100

Re: Mexican Blanket
Love the zip-tie idea, why didn't I think of that? I use them for almost everything else.

Re: Mexican Blanket
Zip ties? Don't you have to install metal grommets in the blanket or the zip tie will just pull through the cloth after getting in & out over and over? Harbor Freight DOES have a cheapo grommet installation kit and I DO have a nice Mexican blanket I like, plus my seat is kinda boring....DOH....I see a project coming.

Re: Mexican Blanket
There's no upholstery on the back and under side of my seat, so I just zip tied to the springs. I'm out and about right now, but I will post some pics in the morning, if you still need them.
