Air Suspension
Well, my dad wants air suspension on his burb(in my sig). Im still learning about air suspension and all the components. I know what I need to do, but I dont know anything about parts and stuff, the air stuff is what I really need help on and the shocks. I know how Im going to do the 4-link. Im just in need of some major help. Any links to 4x4 air-ride builds?

Re: Air Suspension
I haven't seen any builds on them, but I would think it would be very similar to a conventional coilover build, but with the shocks valved differently, and tripple stack bags. Three link front?

Re: Air Suspension
This is the only one I have seen on here - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=200909 No idea how it rode/drove or how the chassis is holding up. There are other's around doing it as well. I always wanted to do this to mine but figured I should get it going first! Bag selection would be critical so as not to limit travel/articulation etc.

Re: Air Suspension
I would search around the forum in the lowed section. Not to bag on the job that guy did, but it doesn't look strong at all. I hang around a guy locally that specializes in air suspensions and everything he builds holds up to the abuse that the customer give their rides. In my option after seeing the good, the bad, and the ugly... That leans more towards the bad side as far as design for strength. "Looks" nice tho. But take a look at the lowered trucks and just apply the same design created for the rear for the front plus steering. If you really get hung up I can ask my buddy owner of Reaper Custom about some ideas. Good Luck
