Re: repop fenders

All repop sheetmetal will need to be "fitted" I would suggest trying to find a nice set of used OEM.

Re: repop fenders

If you are going with repops, Triplus seems to be the choice for best quality. To my knowledge, all repop sheetmetal is made overseas.

Re: repop fenders

If you have a good vender selling the parts that is good as you may have try a few fenders before you get a good or should I say a better fitting one as all the repops differ from each other....I have gone to my brother in laws body shop to see him try 3 fenders before one would fit better....never as good as OEM but with a bit of work he made it look awesome

Except for the hood (which I was able to salvage), I replaced my entire front end (collision repair; fenders, inner fenders, core support) with Tri-Plus parts.

After hearing all the horror stories about how poorly repop parts fit, I was honestly amazed how well everything went together.
I got no complaints.

Re: repop fenders

I have a tri-plus rt fender on my truck. The back edge is a little wavy and in the front where the grille mounts it's a little off, not bad. No one will notice unless I point those things out.

Re: repop fenders

Sadly, when these trucks were new, they didn't have the fit and finish that we have become accustomed to seeing in our new vehicles. Geeze, they were trucks and that's why people bought them....to use as trucks! Granted, it is nice when the parts fit better, but the Taiwanese don't drive 'em so they don't care as long as they can make the part shippable. What happens in transit, stays in transit. We just have to deal with the aftermath.
