help please with 3/4 ton trailing arms
I've been looking around for replacement bushings for my 66 project 3/4 ton. I see a listing for 67 and up. The application tab at Summit show fitment for GMC 3/4 ton vans(?)
any help would be greatly appreciated, maybe even spherical joints? EDIT: checked fitment again at Summit Energy 3-33123 says will fit gmc C25 and c2500 pickup, is this different somehow? Last edited by Bob66; 09-04-2010 at 10:46 PM. Reason: more info |

I see the same fitment at PST for polygraphite bushings-chevy beginning in "67again ,but not for '66.
Does anybody know if stock rubber ones are still available? |

To my knowledge the trailing arm bushings are the same for the C20 and the C10 arms. You should be able to get stock style rubber replacement bushings from the usual truck parts suppliers such as LMC, Classic Parts, etc.

Re: help please with 3/4 ton trailing arms
Thanks CapFab, The one thing I hate about mail order sales is having to commit to a part that isn't in my hand so I can check it out. same thing with special orders at, i.e. NAPA.
ordered u-bolts, stock rubber trail and track arm bushings from LMC. This stuff is make or break as far as the decision on whether to build this particular truck............. if correct/fits. I will post later on the interchangability of these parts between 1/2 and 3/4 ton. Last edited by Bob66; 09-06-2010 at 09:32 AM. |
