bagging front with stock spindles

i'm new to the air bag thing and i picked up 2 bags 2 compressers a tank and brackets from craigslist today. i am going to use them on the back and notch it.
anyway i was wondering on my 70swb six lug drum front end can i bag it without getting lowering spindles and still correct the camber angle???
thank for the help.

Re: bagging front with stock spindles

Sure you can still bag it without spindles.
They are just an easy 2.5"-3" drop. Plus most like the advantage of much better braking with disc brakes.
Your bags will provide you the ability to raise the truck back high enough to re-align the front for correct camber numbers.
But the lowest it will be,... is the equivalent of a 3" drop spring at ride height.

If your budget won't allow it, I would wait and do it all at one time. Regardless I would get rid of the drum brakes.

Re: bagging front with stock spindles

camber will always be hard to maintain with bags, even more so with bags only and no drop spindles.

you dont have to do the spindles now, you can do them later if budget allows

Re: bagging front with stock spindles

thanks for the help guys, it's really not a budget issue, well i mean it is but it isn't you know, i guess i mean i don't mind saving up for the drop spindles, i just really like the drum brake and no power anything on my truck. and yes i allow 6-8 car lengths in traffic, hahaha!!

I guess I would rather have disc brakes,... than bags.
Just my opinion,... but I would do the disc brakes first, and save then up for the bags.
