Throttle Cable

How long of a throttle cable did everyone use on their swaps? This and the electric fan are the last thing I have to order to get my truck running! I was planning on using a lokar cable and was just wondering if anyone else had used one as well!

Thanks,
Anthony

Re: Throttle Cable

You can also use the cable from the donor truck. The square hole in the firewall will need filed just ever so slightly to fit the newer cable.

Re: Throttle Cable

Not sure which vehicle your working on but I used LOK-TC-1000TPV, 36" cable.

Glock is correct from what I have seen and read for the 71-72 pedals.

Re: Throttle Cable

I didn't have a donor truck unfortunately. I have been piecing everything together at this point. I just wanted to make sure a 36" cable would fit, thanks for the help guys!

Re: Throttle Cable

I used a cable from a 01 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0 because that was the donor truck. Filed the firewall a little because the cable has a round on it. I have a 72 GMC and it works great. Mine is DBC.
