I installed PS on my 67 and cannot figure out why the bolt in the back on the bottom is leaking. I did put teflon tape on it, to no avail, it is leaking again. Please give me a little knowledge about stoppin the leak!

Just guessing here but are the threads messed up on it? Also is the teflon tape installed on it correctly? Yes there is a right and wrong way to install the tape.
You want the tape in the oppisite direction on the threads, in other words say you are holding a bolt in your right hand it would turn to the right to install it...correct, the tape should be wrapped in the other direction as if you are wrapping it up.
Hold end of teflon tape to the bolt threads and rotate the bolt as if installing it. This will keep the tape from bunching up when you do install it.
If this is all done right and it's leaking still then I'd say you have a bad pump and need it replaced.

Also check the flare. It could have a crack in the pipe and it is weeping regardless of how tight it is.

Thanks for the response. I will have to pull the pump and before reinstalling I'll make sure that I wrap it correctly. Ummmm. That last sentence could be taken out of context.

I will do so. Just wanted to try fixing the prob without taking the pump off. Oh well....what's another hour after almost 2 years!
