Re: Freddy's '52

Great lookin truck! Sorry off the subject but I was wondering if you could tell me what motor mounting brackets you used for your LT1? I want to mount mine in the same location,I don't know what happened to my original S10 transmission cross member, I am going to try to use the one for the throw out bearing and mount it in the same spot.Any help is greatly appreciated

I used the Trans Dap or Dept? s10 adapter mounts from Jegs. If I had to do over again I would use a aftermarket tranny cross-member cause I had to cut a channel for my exhaust on the drivers side. I also thought about using the throw out bearing mount.

Re: Freddy's '52

Well hinges went easier than I thought, I only had trouble with one and it was my fault. So, now doors are hung and man what a differance. Then I went crazy ..... I had to put it together "sort of" to see it. Here's an idea of what it's gonna look like. Probably the only thing to change is to find a used chrome grill and front bumper to add a little "rat bling".
