Will first gen camaro BBC headers fit square body?
I am about to do a big block swap and found a good deal on some headers, but they are for a first gen camaro. Does anyone know if they will fit a square body without too much hassle?

NO! they hit the drivers side motor mount... ask me how i know

Dunno bout Camaro, but I used a set off a Chevelle. Had to do some trimming, but fit OK.

nova headers are pretty similar to 1st gen camaro. 2 1/8 hookers
trimmed motor mount alot but...

I know this will not answer your question about the Camaro Headers but, I got Hooker supercomps for a 69 Chevelle and they fit perfect in my 77'. I think I have more room now than when it had a small block in it.

Thanks for all of the input guys! I think I'll pass on these and just order the right headers.
Does anyone know if the Hedman Elite's drop real far below the frame? My truck is lowered 5/6, and I don't want to run in to header-ground clearance issues. The Hedman elites I have now on the small block are tucked up pretty tight. |

Not sure what your budget is but Sanderson makes a really nice 3/4 length header for BBC in our trucks. These are what I want to get.
