Posi Unit

Who has the best deal on a new or used 12bolt posi unit? Can't find any deals on ebay for a 3:73 or higher.

I see them on craigslist occasionally. You will want an 8.875" TRUCK unit with the gear set. A 4-series posi carrier fits 3.73 - 4.56? The carrier and gears can be shipped without buying the entire rear. Good Luck!

Or you can get a 3 series carrier for 3.08 gears and buy aftermarket gears that are made for the 3 series carrier. They came in 3.73 4.11 and 4.56. This is what I'm doing, unless I can trade my 3 series posi for a 4 series.

Re: Posi Unit

I do know that you can buy 3-series 3.73 gears but do not know about anything steeper. I happen to be running 3-series 3.73 gears on my 3-series open carrier.
