well someone moved you here where you belong with this truck. Its not a bad truck and i have the same motor in mine hooked to a th350 trans. Its powerful enough if you dont plan on setting speed records, Im able to tow large items such as a car trailer loaded with a small car with ease, but the fuel economy well that is far from good. good luck with it

I don't see the problem with the 305 and why everybody knocks it. There were millions made, millions on the road. No, you're not going to get the horsepower with it that you would out of other motors, but it is a decent little motor, and I don't think GM would've put it in production if it had not been. Just my two cents.
