Re: fuel mileage k5 blazer guys?

My 76 2wd Blazer has a 4:10 rearend and a 700R4 Trans. I can get 700 kms to 100 liters of gas. My father in law gave me this conversion formula for metric to standard; Kilometers divided by liters, multiplied by 2.825. If this is an accurate formula, my blazer gets 19.78 MPG! (highway)

I thought the McKenzie brothers said to double it and add 30 to go metric. A six pack doubled was 12 beers, and add 30 was 42 metric beers.
