Can someone tell me how it should be installed? Coiled end to back? Where does it attach to the frame?

I have it on, but it doesn't look right.

coiled end towards the front end,hooked to the frame; in the hole before the motor mounts............dont know if thats the "correct" way bott it works,,,,,
