Do I need this

I am upgrading from a Quad-R-Jet carb to the Edelbrock 1406. Do I need this spacer and breather tube when I change??? Will I need some type of filter to replace vent in valve cover??

Re: Do I need this

You can go without it. Do you have a PCV in one side and a breather in the other? If yes, then plug the hole. If you are missing the breather, put a breather in that spot.

you need a pcv on one side, and some kind of breahter on the other
