CL find: I'm thinking Frankenstein?
Found it on Craiglook:
http://lynchburg.craigslist.org/cto/1905232560.html By my best knowledge, Chevy didn't offer 1-ton 4x4s until the square body era? Might make a nice truck, though.

Re: CL find: I'm thinking Frankenstein?
My neighbor bought a 72 and on the title it says 1 ton and its a 4 x 4. Any info on whether these were actually made?

Being a 1 ton 4x4 is not unusual, being a Longhorn 4x4 is. Longhorns were only available in 2wd so this must be a conversion.

Conversion or not that's a fairly unique truck for only $2800.
