front springs
i am going to cut my front springs on my 67....can anyone school me on how to get my springs out...whats the best way??? thank you all.

Remove lower control arm from frame. Jack it up, swing the arm and your'e good to go. From what I've read cut springs lead to disappointment. Not first hand but worth looking into.

SOM just so you know, cutting a coil off the front springs works just fine. The negative feedback you hear is from "heating" springs to lower. That will certainly lead to a collapsed or possibly even a broken spring.
