I'm considering swapping out my stock th350 for a manual tranny. I have the mechanics of it figured out, but I am still a little unsure about the pedal. How big of a PITA is it to add a the clutch pedal or do I have to change the whole assembly etc. I plan to adapt a hydrolic master cylinder to it, but I would like the actual pedal to mount and look stock. Any body have any pics?

There was a thread on here not long ago with a very good pic from the shop manual. Anyway, your stock brake pedal shaft is hollow. The clutch pedal arm has a smaller shaft attached to it that goes through the hollow brake pedal shaft. The arm or lever for the pushrod clamps onto splines on the right end of the clutch pedal shaft and keeps it from sliding out.

If you're interested, I've got a complete pedal assy, clutch, pressure plate, & SM465 out of a '73 that should fit. Although, the trans. bolt mount threads are oppisite between the '73 & up to '72. Everything's here in Orlando Fl.

That's what I was hoping for. I have taken pedals out of manuals to put in autos, but never the other way around. I wasn't sure if I was missing any details. I will keep looking for that thread

Thanks, but this is for a 6.0 LS swap with a nv4500 and a hydraulic clutch setup.

I would be interested if they are still available? I was going with a 700R4 but have decided to go with a T-56.
