New Guy Here

Hi everybody, I'm not new at all in this website I'd been reading and searching info on this site for a couple of months, however this is going to be my first post so I thought it would be good to share some pictures of my truck, well it's my dad's truck but it will be mine eventually I hope. She needs lots of work, there's rust everywhere but that's good because this is gonna be my first restoration project, so I know I will be learning a lot from the truck and this site as well. Let me know what you all think, all answers are welcome.

Looks like a nice start. I would do as much as I could without tearing it completely apart, until you get the feel of it. It is very easy to tear one apart and get overwhelmed by the amount of work needed to get it repaired and put back together...

Re: New Guy Here

thanks guys, I'll be doing repairs one at a time, right now i'm looking for repair panels such as fenders maybe new doors or at least in better condition than the ones i have. Also, i'm planning on swapping the transmission to a better four speed, i was thinking about a muncie m20 wide ratio or a super T10.

Welcome from South Dakota, looks like a sweetie! I'm big on TO DO lists, keep em in the garage or in the truck, when you have a little time, cross one or two off your list!

Sweet truck, man! The 292 looks great, perfect for a swb stepper. Kee up the good work on it, she'll run forever.
