1969 gmc 3/4 ton

i have a 1969 gmc 3/4ton and want to remove the ac components from underf the hood. Can i just take them out or do i have to buy parts in order to remove all ac components under the hood

You can buy an A/C delete plate that will allow you to keep your heater. As far as getting rid of the A/C stuff, everything on the outside of the firewall can go. I don't know where the delete plate can be purchased at, but I'm sure someone will chime in that knows.
