Re: master cylinder
Typically use a Corvette master. Seems like it was for a '70....'67-'76 shows to use the same master

Re: master cylinder
I'll be using a hydra boost out of a square body diesel.

Re: master cylinder
ok captainfab I have your kit for the impala ss rear disc I have blead them over and over and the pedal is still low. I cant remember which mast cyl I used it was a c10 or s10. I am thinking I need a different mast cyl. anyway I was trying to decide between a 70 corvette or a 95 impala any thoughts?

Re: master cylinder
Either one should work. The Corvette master will be all cast iron, whereas the '95 Impala SS one will have the plastic reservior and likely an aluminum body. I don't know if that will make a difference to you. Do you already have a proportioning valve? What brakes do you have up front?

Re: master cylinder
the front is from a 80 c10 yes I have prop valve. my brother tells me that the rear ss calipers are a low drag design and you should use a quick take up master which are the ones with a plastic reservoir. does this make any sense?

Re: master cylinder
I'm not that familar with the newer masters, but yes I have heard that now that you mention it. It would be a good chance that using the Impala SS master would solve your problem.I haven't heard any feedback from other customers that have bought the Impala SS rear disc brackets, to know if this has been an issue for others.
