crazyL, you may have more gears but I sure as hell don't. a 94 V-6 camaro took me in the 1/2 mile cause he 454 was runnin outta RPMs. the 3.08 posi helped some thouh. And as far as droppin on te 4 bangers, calm down a little, chevy has some too. like the classic Chevette :-) I miss my ol' vette.. :-( anyone know of one in central Iowa that could be bought cheap? (not sayin a 4banger would stay...) but my ol 1981 chevette 4 door, 4 spd. 1.6L 4 cyld. and 4.11's(I think thats what they were) went 110MPH to and from school atleast 3 times a week :-) I was young and stupid though

I get em with the 71 ZZ502 when they try... they choke on the smoke...

My wife keeps up with them, paces them and makes em slow down and pull end behind her with her 98 Vette....

They don't even try when I pull up in my Chevelle cause they know better...

And I really mess with em in my ex police cruiser with the LT1 and full sway bar....it's fun to see them slow down....

chevy2racr........The buick 231 is an excellent engine and I bet it would make a chevette run. A buddy of mine used to have an 81 pontiac T1000 (same as chevette) and we did everything we could to destroy that thing and it just wouldn't die. We flew threw farmer's fields at 80 mph.......We even rolled it once. It took a lickin and kept on tickin....LOL

yall are calling them "chaiuawa" (spelling) but sometimes those little dogs have turbos and juice all over, then you get your ass handed to you. its just the accessories that serve no purpose that get me fired up
