like the title says how do you take the trim of the tailgate and bedside without hurting the trim or the clips

some have to the best of my memory, spring type clips& can be removed by reaching between the bed sides inner& outer 5/16 nuts (on my truck anyway) the tail gate is easy just remove from the center out . all the clips are available if you damage anything . cheers, Pat
