That is sweet! How much did you take out of the top? Do you have any pics of the truck as it was being chopped?

Re: doored and bodydropped pics?
Ok, it looks like I get the chance to display my ignorance again. What does "doored" mean? How about "rockered"?

Re: doored and bodydropped pics?
It is a reference to how far the truck is body dropped. First stop on the way down would be the pinch weld at the bottom of the cab. This would be called laying pinch.
Just past the pinch weld you get to the rocker, thus laying rocker. Above the rocker is obviously the door. If your truck is doored then the entire rocker has been cut off and when the truck is laid out the doors contact the ground and you would say it is doored. Note that a lot of doored trucks actually leave a little material below the door so that they still open when laid out fully without dragging on the ground. Re: doored and bodydropped pics?
thanks dude,
your truck and the yellow ifcustoms truck is the reason i wanted to go to door, do you have any pics with a bumper on or are you not that far along? im just figuring out how far i wanna go and think seeing one bodydropped to even the rocker with the bumper on will help me decide, |

That yellow truck is SICK. Looks like a vaccum on the street, wish I had the guts to do that, someday

Re: doored and bodydropped pics?
This is the only pic I have of it off the ground I believe.. I have the alignment done for about an inch ride height. So it looks funny to me here. I love the street sweeper look.
I am going to chop the top when I get back into messing with it. |
