Is there a manual with pictures somewhere showing how the ad front end body goes to together lik where everything bolts up? Im going to have to get a new radiator support and inner fenders but im not sure how exactly everything is placed stock... Or any pictures of a tear down or put together would be helpful.

Re: Front end manual?
You're looking for the assembly manual available from most the vendors.

Re: Front end manual?
Drawings, they are listed as 47/54 but are actually the 54 assembly manual. Worth the 30 bucks though as they have lots of drawings and specs.
Here are the results of an Ebay search. Big differences in prices and maybe differences in shipping costs so check each or check Amazon and see if you can find a better deal. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories The one on Amazon is a bit higher in price for the same book. Amazon.com: 1947 1942 1953 1954 CHEVROLET TRUCK... Works better if I post the link Last edited by mr48chev; 09-25-2010 at 10:38 PM. |

Re: Front end manual?
I was just flipping through the fender section of the assembly manual the other day, and it has some great illustrations that show the layering of panels, and where everything needs to go.
You'll be glad you bought it. I took a million pictures when I disassembled my front end, but the manual will get you straightened out just as well
