Whats for dinner?

Tonight is the hectic kid night.. so we threw some steak and gravy with rice together, to take with. Thankfully we can hit the office between stuff, so its not so bad.

So whats for dinner at your place? (ie I need ideas for the rest of the week lol)

Re: Whats for dinner?

Jack and I both worked a full day then had to deal with some after school stuff, got home late. We did a small frozen lasagne, garlic cheese bread and some steamed greenbeans with almonds. We dont eat much this late so we'll have plenty for leftovers. Easy dinner tomorrow

oh, and I think i remember some Sara Lee cheese cake in the freezer with my name on it, lol

Re: Whats for dinner?

Pork Roast in the crock pot with a packet of McCormicks slow cookers pulled pork seasoning. Makes a decent quick meal & I get leftover pulled pork sandwiches in my lunch box!

Re: Whats for dinner?

my wife made me meatloaf ( she does one with mustard and ketchup in it.. let me know if you want the recipie) with fresh kale ( garlic and oil) and some kind of kit beef rice junk you get in a foil pouch in the supermarket... she also made me a salad and dessert is vanilla pudding with fresh fruit in it ( berries) there is truth to the statement the way to a mans heart is through his stomach

Re: Whats for dinner?

I love my crock pot, and pressure cooker.. I would be lost without them.
I think tonight will be taco tuesday. The kids love when we do that.. no clue why but just calling it taco tuesday makes it all good to them..

Shane n Bob you got me in the mood for meatloaf. Bob go ahead n send it or post it in gourmet. Id like to see the diff between them all. I make one Mommas way, Italian like without sauce etc. One best friends Mommas like, tomato sauce n bacon wrapper (yum but a rare treat). And one a friend here showed me with ketchup mustard brown sugar etc.. i like it but never think to make it.
